On January 31, 2019, a new coal coke hydrogen plant (POX) built by Nanjing Tripartite Chemical Equipment Supervision Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nanjing Tripartite) in Zhenhai Refinery and Chemical Industry succeeded in starting up, successfully producing qualified hydrogen and integrating it into the hydrogen system of the whole plant. So far, China's first set of coal coke hydrogen plant, which adopts the core technology of domestic independent research, has been put into operation successfully.
Zhenhai Refining and Chemical POX (Hydrogen Production from Coal Coke) project has three advantages: technology, cost and environmental protection. POX project adopts SE coal-water slurry gasification technology and enters the "Ten Dragons" scientific and technological research project of Sinopec in 2015, which is the precondition for upgrading the quality of Zhenhai refining and petrochemical oil. It occupies an important equipment in the old refining and Petrochemical area of Zhenhai.
The core equipment of POX project is three converters and three gasifiers. 12Cr2Mo1R surfacing 347 and 14Cr1MoR+S32168 are used in the equipment. There are many manufacturing difficulties and details to be noticed. During the manufacture of gasifier and converter, Nanjing Tripartite Supervisors showed a very high professional level, seized the key and difficult points of equipment manufacturing, adhering to the principle of quality first, put forward that the heat treatment test pieces did not follow the furnace, the problems exposed before the heat treatment of equipment and so on, persevered in the production line with no complaints, greatly guaranteed the smooth delivery of equipment. At the same time, the four-level patrol management mechanism of Nanjing tripartite also makes the owners feel more comfortable. The equipment inspection organized by Nanjing tripartite project effectively eliminated the hidden dangers in the manufacturing plant, eliminated the equipment leaving the factory with diseases, fulfilled the responsibilities of the equipment supervision unit well, and finally was praised and encouraged by the owners.
