Recently, three entrusted development projects of refining catalyst unit jointly undertaken by Tianhua Institute and partners have passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements.

China's refining catalyst has its own unique technology and production system, various types of refining catalyst have formed a series, the technical content is almost the same as that of foreign catalysts, and has its own advantages. Tianhua Institute has successfully developed various key equipment for catalyst preparation, such as blade pre drying, rotary flash drying, electric heating baking furnace, gas baking furnace, air flow drying, blending, etc., and successfully realized industrial application.

With the continuous improvement of catalyst preparation process requirements, energy consumption, waste gas emission and cost of the unit become the factors restricting the development of catalyst preparation technology. The three projects rely on the 50000 T / a FCC catalyst unit of Changling branch of Sinopec catalyst Co., Ltd. as the largest FCC unit in China, under the premise of ensuring product quality, the project The purpose of R & D is not only to enlarge the existing technical devices step by step, but also to realize the innovation and upgrading of devices based on energy saving, consumption reduction and environmental protection.

Among them, the "FCC catalyst large spray drying and mixing equipment technology development" project has developed a new type of high temperature, large volume and energy saving spray drying equipment, and the semi open cycle technology has been used to recycle the heat of the exhaust hot air, so as to achieve the goal of reducing heat loss and reducing exhaust emissions. "Large scale design and development of gas fired roaster" effectively improves the loading system and thermal efficiency; "molecular sieve drying roasting system engineering optimization and comprehensive energy saving technology" has developed a molecular sieve drying roasting external circulation and internal circulation technology, which can not only reduce energy consumption, but also reduce the subsequent tail gas treatment system load, playing a key role in improving the system stability.

At present, these three technologies have been applied in the customer's site, the product quality meets the requirements, the device operates stably and achieves the expected effect, and also realizes the purpose of energy consumption reduction, tail gas heat recycling and tail gas emission reduction. Other related technologies such as waste water heat pump rectification ammonia removal technology, spray drying and tail gas comprehensive utilization are also in continuous development, application and assessment.
