Large-scale EO reactor manufactured by Tianhua Institute left port smoothly

Recently, two EO / EG plants, the core equipment of which was built by Nanjing Tripartite Company under Tianhua Institute for the owner, have successfully left Hong Kong after 19 months.

Ethylene oxide reactor with a single weight of 1200 tons is a fixed tubesheet structure. It has the characteristics of large diameter of tubesheet (7400mm), large number of heat exchanger tubes (12663), complex tubesheet structure and so on. The manufacturing difficulties lie in meeting the requirements of drilling accuracy of tubesheet and tubesheet, concentricity of tubesheet and tubesheet assembly holes, heat exchanger tube penetration (blind penetration), welding quality requirements of heat exchanger tube and tubesheet (including 5% RT inspection after welding), and cleaning and drying after water pressure inner wall of heat exchanger tube.

In the process of actual equipment supervision and manufacture, Nanjing Tripartite Company actively controls the manufacturing accuracy of each spare part and the matching size between the spare parts. Through active information exchange and technical communication among the manufacturers, it effectively solves the problems such as the scratch of the inner wall of the pipe hole, the concentricity of the pipe hole between the pipe plate and the pipe support plate, and the welding quality of the pipe bundle head in the process of drilling. Through early warning and actively supervising the optimization of manufacturer's schemes, the problems such as incomplete drying of heat exchanger tubes after water pressure are effectively avoided. Each index meets the requirements of design drawings, technical agreements and corresponding technical standards, and achieves the expected goal of supervision planning.
