From September 26 to September 29, 2019, the 17th National Drying Conference, sponsored by Tianhua Institute, was successfully held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, under the co-sponsorship of the Drying Professional Group of the Chemical Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Drying Equipment Branch of the General Machinery Industry Association of China.
The meeting was first addressed by Director Liu Wei of the Management Committee of Binjiang Economic Development Zone, Jiangning District, and invited Yin Xiping, Director of Science and Technology Department of Sinopec Catalyst Co., Ltd., Professor Jiang Wenchun, Vice-Dean of Chemical Engineering College, China University of Petroleum and Petroleum, Secretary-General Huang Lixin, Branch of Forest Chemistry and Chemical Industry, China Forestry Society, Professor Chen Haifeng, Director of Power Engineering Department, Professor Li Zhanyong, Vice President of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, gave a keynote speech to the conference. At the meeting, experts and scholars from scientific research institutes, universities and related enterprises in drying industry at home and abroad exchanged and discussed the latest progress, development trend, theoretical research and technological development achievements of drying technology and equipment at home and abroad around the theme of "green intelligence".
There were 207 delegates and 94 papers, of which 11 were awarded the Excellent Papers Award of Changzhou Fanqun Cup, which reached the largest scale since the drying conference was held. At the same time, it also marked the success of the conference.
The conference actively promoted the research and application of drying technology at home and abroad, strengthened academic exchanges and cooperation among peers, helped drying equipment manufacturers in China to clarify industry development trends, grasp market trends, optimize market competition order, guide users to purchase equipment, and built a communication platform for drying equipment manufacturers, purchasing users and drying equipment manufacturers.
